On a recent trip to Australia, I photographed this hilarious billboard for Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill, located on The Promenade at King Street Wharf. They were advertising their special lunch deal, “Georges Lobster Fridays.” Great attention-grabber!

This Gastro advertisement by Callegari Berville Grey, a Paris, France based ad agency, vividly shows the urgency of needing relief from acid indigestion. Such a creative ad would give any brand great recognition because it effectively materializes the efficacy of the product.
This is a great Toyota billboard created by Badillo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The edgy and grungy nuance of the ad really captures the attention. The fact that it is displayed on a three-story garage might help too. Sometimes, billboard size can be visually captivating when done creatively.
Unfortunately, I have no idea where this billboard was originally displayed, but even the online photo of it definitely caught my eye! The 3d images and clever concept really stand out. Since we see up to 3,000 advertisements every day, having a real draw like this is crucial to attract attention.
One of the techniques Amnesty International uses to help political prisoners obtain their release is to sponsor letter writing campaigns. To promote these efforts, they created a variety of doors that people could drop letters into, in a variety of styles designed to help people connect with the fact that their letter writing is having an impact across the world.
Here’s a pretty crazy billboard that is a) really, really long and b) has cars on it. Pretty awesome, and I guess it’s really at testament to Russia’s financial success over the past few years as oil and natural gas prices have skyrocketed. (via Billboardom)
