Fierce Billboard!
All I have to say is WOW! Those are some super strong teeth ripping the billboard from its hedges. This is a really cool and innovative billboard done by Ogilvy & Mather (Indonesia location) for Formula Tooth care—quite the visual.

I can’t look at this billboard for Clorets gum for an extended period of time because the visual immediately triggers my olfactory senses; I can only imagine the FOUL odor of this person’s breath.
If ever you have a hard time telling someone that they need a heavy duty breath freshening gum to freshen their breath then show them this ad. That person just might never talk to you again but you will surely get your point across!
This is a really bright, funny, and unique approach to billboard advertising. By using the surrounding area as part of this outdoor billboard, the ad becomes more eye-catching and dynamic, hence creating a great larger-than-life experience for observers.
Billboards are ubiquitous so rarely do they catch my attention but this one was too cute to pass up because of the baby’s “Party at my crib!” announcement.
Bon Bèbè specializes in baby layettes and other baby-related essentials. They definitely exuded their expertise with this adorable yet clever and effective ad.
K. Lynn wanted to convey their motto, “Second Skin Underwear,” innovatively. This billboard/print ad done by JWT (Dubai) for the lingerie company is a clear illustration that promotional marketing campaigns can be simple and subtly provocative yet strategy-conscious, therefore, very effective.
This is a great Toyota billboard created by Badillo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The edgy and grungy nuance of the ad really captures the attention. The fact that it is displayed on a three-story garage might help too. Sometimes, billboard size can be visually captivating when done creatively.
Take a look at this tiny billboard! This miniature advertisement is for a new video game on the Playstation 3 console called “LittleBigPlanet.” The game allows players to control small characters in a highly interactive environment where they can build anything from small gadgets to an entire world! In order to draw attention, this LittleBigPlanet billboard relies on its eye-catching appearance. While the efficacy of traditional billboards hinges on their larger-than-life communicating power, this billboard captures attention by being out of the ordinary. If I saw one of these tiny signs, I’d definitely stop to see what it was all about.
When you hear the words “innovation,” and “creativity,” which companies come to mind? For me, it’s definitely Google, and this awesome YouTube billboard is just another example of their think-outside-the-box strategies. Instead of posting a static billboard to advertise YouTube, Google decided to create something that was as interactive as the streaming-video web site itself. They posted up several of these billboards, which are essentially empty frames made to look like the YouTube media player screen. At the top of the screen in the content search box, there are terms which are related to whatever scene the billboard focuses on. For example, at one billboard set up at an intersection, the search box reads “people crossing the street.” Anyone who looks at the billboard has the impression they are watching a YouTube video. Talk about awesomely creative!
Billboards give companies the ability to communicate their marketing message in a larger-than-life manner to really drive their point home. This capability is demonstrated by this unique Prestige Omega Cookware billboard. After doing some market research and determining that consumers were disappointed with how weak the handles were in their existing pots and pans, Prestige Omega set out to create a line of cookware with extra-durable handles. To promote the new products they created this billboard, which jokes that the strength of the new handle is capable of supporting the entire sign by itself! This is a funny and creative way to place the focus on the new durability of Prestige Omega products. I’m sure it left a lasting impression and increased interest in the new pans.

This summer truly overflowed with interesting stunt advertising, ranging from humorous to just plain absurd! In some combination of the two qualities, this Chevrolet billboard was concocted entirely of pennies. The point was to emphasis the automobile budget-friendless…Perhaps money really does make the world go ’round, because the promotional billboard was picked clean within half an hour!
