Don’t Stop The Refunds

It seems that the soda and beer companies in Washington State want to stop the state government from increasing the refund for recycling empty cans and glasses. If encouraging people to recycle takes a 5 cent increase in a refund you shold go for it.
Showing people what happens to their bottles and cans after they have been recycled might be a good idea. Giving out a promotional tumbler made from recycled plastic and other recycled products is a great way to promote the importance of recycling.
