Olympic Human Rights Billboard
In the spirit of the current Olympics, a few Olympic-oriented ads will be featured in the upcoming days. This one is actually from the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, CA, 2008. The Reporters Without Borders, an international organization advocating freedom of press, used it to raise awareness of their concerns about China’s repression of journalists. The simplistic but powerful parody of the rings was certainly eyecatching.
